Stop Egg-noring Vitamin C
“Best Article I’ve Read To Date”
Dr. Lona Smith
Please take a moment to read this article on how the Cov-19 Battle Ends in Gut.
Texas Biological Medicine, Inc. agrees with the above article. In Dallas, Presbyterian Hospital treats Covid-19 with Zinc, D3, and Vitamin C, along with two antibiotics. Anyone who has visited my office knows the power of Zinc, D3, and Vitamin C.
Taking vitamin C every day up-builds your immune system. Recommended dose is 65 to 90 milligrams a day, and the normal upper limit is 2,000 milligrams a day. To find your individual dosage, increase dosage daily to bowel tolerance and then back off. Vitamin C is a vital step in helping the body to make glutathione. Gluthathione is the liver's primary antioxidant.
Benefits of vitamin C include but are not limited to:
May reduce risk of chronic disease.
May help manage high blood pressure
May lower risk of heart disease
May reduce blood uric acid levels and prevent gout attacks
Helps prevent iron deficiency
Boosts immunity
Allows your body to heal faster
May prevent cancer
Provides quick energy to the body.
The liver uses vitamin C in over 2,000 chemical functions. It not only detoxifies and cleanses the liver; it can also stop a sluggish liver, loosen and disperse fat cells stored inside the liver, and help the liver recover after bouts of stress-related adrenaline surges. Our office carries four different varieties:
Vitamin Code Raw Vitamin C from Garden of Life is a whole food nutrition, specifically formulated to provide 500 mg of vitamin C, along with naturally occurring bioflavonoids. This can be used for immune system support, healthy heart, healthy skin and eyes, and has live probiotics and enzymes that support healthy digestion.
NuMedicia has C-Bioflav 1000. This is a synergistic blend of vitamin C and a potent, standardized complex (50%) of citrus bioflavonoids for optimal efficacy. It has been shown that the combination of vitamin C and bioflavonoids provides powerful antioxidant support, supports optimal immune function and supports healthy collagen production.
Camu Supreme from Supreme Nutrition is in powder form and is used for immune support and can be used by children. This is used for acute and chronic conditions that need higher amounts of vitamin C, bioflavonoids and antioxidants. It is the second most concentrated source of vitamin C of any fruit. This is a powerful immune builder and life enhancer.
Metabolics Vitamin C is a concentrated source of this significant antioxidant. Vitamin C also supports energy metabolism, the immune system, and a number of other functions.
We can recommend the vitamin C that will work for you and your body. Too much vitamin C might cause diarrhea and nausea so we suggest you start slow and increase your dosage daily to determine your tolerance.
Vitamin C is being used in large doses to combat Covid-19.

Hatch A Plan
Are you showered and dressed?
Did you get up before noon?
Have you exercised this week?
The new normal doesn't mean you stop your routines. What if you used this time to add something to your life?
Here are some daily questions that can help you move forward in your life.
What am I grateful for today? This is relatively easy when life is working. I double dog dare you to find three things you are grateful for when life has challenges. Even loss can allow you to be grateful for what you still have.
How have I moved my body today? Our bodies need movement. What if you did a circuit three times: 20 jumping jacks; take the heaviest thing out of your fridge and do 15 squats; 15 push-ups in the hallway along with a 30-second wall sit; hip and arm rotations. This YouTube how-to is a 20 minute chair workout. You can dance, use exercise equipment, walk in place, or pull out that exercise tape you bought twenty years ago and used one time. Move and you will feel your spirits lifting.
Who have I connected with today? Social interaction is critical for mental and physical health. Connect or check in on relatives, friends, your next door neighbor who you normally talk to over the fence. Connection keeps you healthier, happier, and living longer. We are social animals and isolation is used for punishment of prisoners. You are not in prison, you are taking this much needed time to rest, relax, and re-evaluate.
What is the one thing I'd like to do I haven't had time to do? Read a book, learn to whip and nay-nay like a rap star, come up with a new tune, play that instrument in the hall closet, draw your dreams, build a bird house, plant a window garden, write the next bestseller... As Nike says, 'Just Do It.'
What expectations of 'normal' am I letting go of today? There will be a new normal and once you step into what that is, the easier it will be for you to navigate life. Now is the time to figure out what needs to change.
We recommend you find what works for you to reduce stress and tension. Some of our favorites ways to do this are watching comedies, listening to up-lifting music and podcasts, talking to on-line therapists, and having Tricia Wade release tensions with one of her soothing sessions. (Tuning Forks can be done without touching the body and she is masked and gloved.) Find what works for you.
Tricia Wade is open for appointments and will be masked and following protocol so that you can relax and release the stress and tension in your body. Call our office at 972-233-8339 to schedule your appointment.

“Throw out items that don’t spark joy.”
Marie Kondo
Cleaning and organizing can be calming so…
What is the one thing you would like to clean out that you haven’t had time to clean?
Marie Condo has a system to simplify and organize your home by getting rid of physical items that do not bring joy into your life.
Her method has become so popular you can find her on Netflix or purchase her book via her webpage.
This method has a checklist with six basic rules. The first rule is to make the commitment. Making the commitment to de-clutter and organize your space is half the battle.
Use this month and commit to one room or one cabinet. A clean desk, a clear mind. Would you like to de-clutter your in box? Wade thru unopened mail and paperwork? Clear old messages and notes in your phone?Could your carpets use a good shampoo? Maybe, your summer clothes can be taken out of storage.
The ConMari method allows you to keep only items that spark joy.
Don't forget to spring clean your toothbrush during this time. Store in hydrogen peroxide to help keep it clean. Additionally, during this time you should change your toothbrush once a month at a minimum. If you are sick, change the toothbrush every five days until you have been well five days.
High quality essential oils in glass spray bottles change the mood of everyone in a room while killing viruses. Try spraying a citrus blend and you might find a household full of willing participants when you get ready to clean. We carry On Guard and diffuse this in every room in our office. Here is a recipe to refill your sanitizer if you purchased one from us:
4 tsp rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol or Everclear vodka)
1 tsp fractionated coconut oil
30 drops On Guard
Once you start tidying up your home, you end up with more joy in your life and, you won't be bored.
P.S. How much toilet paper do you really need?

Hard Boiled News
The theory that some people may have already been infected with the virus and recovered isn’t an outrageous one. That may be slightly comforting, especially since (some experts believe) you may have some level of immunity once you get COVID-19.

5 year old asks mom: Two bricks are on a plane. 1 falls off. How many are left?
Mom: One.
5 year old: How do you put an elephant in a refrigerator?
Mom: An elephant won’t fit.
5 year old: Yes it can. Just open the door, put the elephant in, and close the door behind you.
Mom pauses her TV program: I’m glad you remembered to close the door. Good job.
5 year old: I’m having a pretend party. I plan to invite all my stuffed animals since no one is allowed to play. All of my animals are ready, except one.
Mom: Let me guess, the Lion King.
5 year old: Silly mommy. Ellie Elephant because she’s in the refrigerator. Mom: frowns.
5 year old: How does Elsa from Frozen get across a large river which is a home to the most dangerous alligator in the house?
Mom: She freezes the water and walks across.
5 year old starts sniveling: Elsa died.
Mom: How?
5 year old: She got hit in the head by a flying brick.
Mom: Maybe we better go check out the kitchen.
They walk into the kitchen and mom notices the freezer door is open. Her daughter’s Elsa doll is laying in a puddle of melted ice-cubes. A pound of butter is on top of the doll. At the kitchen table sit an assortment of animals. The alligator and elephant are missing.
Mom: opens the refrigerator and finds the Elephant on top of the eggs, hands it to her daughter. On the side door is the Alligator squeezed between the milk and Gatorade.
5 year old: Mommy, I'm thirsty and before you get mad remember what you said.
Mom grits her teeth: What did I say?
5 year old: When life gives you gators, you're suppose to drink Gatorade.
Mom: mutters under her breath.
Dad walks in and asks: Are you having a parent-teacher conference with yourself?

Peep Into The Pantry
How to Dye Eggs Naturally:
There are two methods: boil the eggs with the dye. The heat allows the dye to saturate the shells, resulting in intense, more uniform color. Or,
Cold-dip. The eggs and the ingredients for the dye are boiled separately. This produces subtle uneven shades. Rotate the eggs to get more even coloring.
Choose your color depending on what you have in the pantry.
Red-cabbage dye: 4 cups chopped cabbage
Turmeric dye: 3 tablespoons turmeric
Onion-skin dye: 4 cups onion skins (skins of about 12 onions)
Beet dye: 4 cups chopped beets
Coffee dye: 1 quart strong black coffee (instead of water)
Deep Gold: Boil eggs in turmeric solution, 30 minutes.
Sienna: Boil eggs in onion solution, 30 minutes.
Dark Rich Brown: Boil eggs in black coffee, 30 minutes.
Pale Yellow: Soak eggs in room-temperature turmeric solution, 30 minutes.
Orange: Soak eggs in room-temperature onion-skin solution, 30 minutes.
Light Brown: Soak eggs in room-temperature black coffee, 30 minutes.
Light Pink: Soak eggs in room-temperature beet solution, 30 minutes.
Light Blue: Soak eggs in room-temperature cabbage solution, 30 minutes.
Royal Blue: Soak eggs in room-temperature cabbage solution overnight.
