Time marches forward so
look for changes that create
big benefits by year end.
What are you planning to change?
“Fear is the main source of superstition,
and one of the main sources of cruelty.
To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom.”
– Bertand Russell
Science tells us fear weakens our immune system.
When you try to ignore fear, it will grow. Facing fear allows you to let go of the fear.
So sit with your fear for a moment. Visualize or sense that fear in front of you. Shrink the picture or feeling to the size of a molecule. Move the picture or feeling in back of you. If you like sounds, hear the 'fear' swoosh over your head and splat on the ground behind you. Literally dust your hands off and see or sense yourself stepping forward with a bounce in your step.
If that doesn't work, change the picture or thought in your head to something that is silly or stupid. It can even be comical. Make the fear into a cartoon character that you can swat away with a flyswatter that is as big as you are. Go ahead and squash the thing.
Another technique is to imagine the worst has happened and then flip the story. Tell yourself the exact opposite of what you initially thought would happen.
Every time you have the fearful thought, practice some technique that will create less stress in your body.
Why all this talk about fear? Because the media is constantly bombarding us with a fear mentality and especially the news about the Coronavirus.
The next step in the process to eliminate any fear is to educate yourself.
PERSPECTIVE: One of the worst days so far for the Coronavirus was the 10th of February. On that day, 108 persons in CHINA died of Coronavirus.
BUT on that same day:
- According to the American Cancer Society approximately 1,670 people died of Cancer in the U.S. alone
- According to the American Heart Association approximately 1,440 people died of Heart disease in the U.S. alone
- According to Save.org approximately 123 people committed suicide in the U.S. alone on that same day.
BOOSTING YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM IS THE ONLY PREVENTATIVE FOR THE FLU. In February we talked about boosting your immune system as a preventative measure to the Coronavirus. Go here to find the supplements we talked about that can support your immune system. The best defense is a great offense so prepare your body. The Coronavirus is a respiratory virus. IF your immune system is compromised then you should boost it all the time and especially in the winter.
LIMIT SUGAR, BREAD, PACKAGED FOODS AND CARBOHYDTATES.
We realize the Coronavirus continues to spread. I picture it like jam on bread. Only there isn't enough jam. Some parts of the bread don't get any jam. I am that part of the bread that stays fresh, healthy, and jam free. Then I take supplements to boost my immune system and feel empowered.
The internet has been known to encourage fear (think about the fake news). Don't believe everything you read or hear. You might even want to change the channel or stop watching the news altogether.
Even Facebook has banned ads about cures because, at this time, there are no cures for the Cornoavirus. Having a healthy immune system protects us by first creating a barrier that stops those invaders, or antigens, from entering the body. Then, if they do enter, the virus can be destroyed.
Amazon instituted a pricing policy on face masks so there will be no gouging the consumers. The company has no way to make sure the masks are viable. You would need an N95 mask which are being scooped up by health care professionals.
We aren't purchasing masks. Instead we use diffusers in our homes and office with good quality essential oils.
We wash our hands frequently, we try not to touch our face, and we cover our mouth when we sneeze and we sneeze into our elbow.
We are grateful to be healthy and we tell ourselves and others how well our bodies support us.
We don't listen to or buy stories creating fear.
We continue to exercise to let go of daily stress.
We boost our immune system with supplements that support our health.
We tell ourselves to stop being afraid and change the story or send those little critters to a volcano where they burn up and cleanse the atmosphere.
"Fears are educated into us, and can,
if we wish,
be educated out.”
— Karl Augustus Menninger

Myth #1: Coronavirus Beer. This search has spiked over the last few weeks. Corona beer has nothing to do with the virus. The term corona means crown and the virus is shaped like one. I'm crushing that crown and this myth right now.
Myth #2: The coronavirus will infect our cats and dogs. This is dog-gone nonsense. The evidence does not support this myth so stop worrying about your animals and start loving them instead.
Myth #3: Sugar is nutritious because it is plant based. False. The food gives you empty calories which makes it sweet and dangerous. And it feeds viruses. Cocaine is also plant based but would we feed it to our children?
Myth #4: Eating food within 5 seconds of dropping it on the floor is safe. Bacteria contaminates within seconds. Whether you eat food from the floor or not is up to you, but if the people that walk on that floor are also walking around your city, we personally don't recommend it.
Truth #1: Your mind is stronger than you think.
Tune In To Health
Tuning fork therapy uses calibrated metal tuning forks to apply specific vibrations to different parts of the body. This can help release tension and energy, and promote emotional balance.
It works similarly to acupuncture by using sound frequencies for point stimulation instead of needles, allowing the practitioner to move the energy out of your body.
Research suggests tuning fork therapy may help relieve muscle and bone pain.
Our resident body worker, Trisha Wade, has added Tuning Forks to her menu of services. You can receive a full body session or she might add them after she has done a Trager session or in conjunction with the L.E.T. machine.
Come experience a new way to relax and release tension.
Trisha Wade is open for appointments. Call our office at 972-233-8339 to schedule your appointment to improve your overall health.
